Dr. Glorymar Rosario-Vicente is a bilingual (Spanish/English) post-doctoral fellow working with Dr. Ann Davis at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Albizu University, San Juan Campus (Puerto Rico). She completed her predoctoral internship at Compass Health Network in Raymore, Missouri (part of the National Psychology Training Consortium-Central Region). Her primary research interests are on translating, adapting, and validating instruments (e.g., Sociocultural Attitude Towards Appearance Questionnaire-3-Modified-Spanish and the Diabetes-Focused Self-Compassion Scale-Spanish) and caregivers’ impact on treatment adherence for chronic health conditions in adolescents (e.g., self-compassion, diabetes type 1).
