Dr. Julie Christianson is a professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her research program is designed to understand the mechanisms underlying centralized pain syndromes related to early life stress, and clinically-applicable therapies designed to reverse or prevent these permanent changes in pain processing.
